Mykhailo Minakov is Senior Manager of the Kennan Institute, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and Editor-in-chief of the Focus Ukraine expert blog.

The Ukrainian research program at the Wilson Center's Kennan Institute supports the research of Ukrainian scholars (usually alumni), cooperation of the American and Ukrainian scholars of joint research projects, and publishes expert blogs on Ukraine for English-speaking audiences. His research interests currently include political processes in the country at war, patronal politics and longue duree tendencies of Ukrainian statehood.
