Nadiya Ivanenko is Honorary Norham Fellow at the University of Oxford.

Current research projects:
  1. Digital Warfare: Media and Technologies in the Russo-Ukrainian War: the project aims to examine the impact of digital media and technologies on the Russo-Ukrainian war, shedding light on how they shape both the conflict itself and our understanding of it.  
  2. Academic mobility/immobility in Ukrainian higher education: The research explores forced mobility and immobility of students and scholars from Ukrainian higher education institutions in the context of the Russia’s war on Ukraine. It studies the impact of the war on policies and on educational provision, advantages of academic international mobility as well as risks associated with massive outflow of human, including intellectual, capital from Ukraine that poses further threats to its economic and social development.
Planned future research: 

Transformation and optimization of higher education for post-war recovery of Ukraine: a comprehensive analysis to understand the strategic role of HE in responding to the rapid changes in the country's security environment, and its potential to drive economic growth, research development, innovation, and crisis response during wartime and post-war period.
